IDC Nordic/Benelux is looking for a Community Manager with the right talent, background, and energy.


The Community Manager will be a key part of the go-to market delivery team, producing highly quality leads for our partners and making sure that people in our community get relevant content. A key part of the role will be to ensure the quality of the database and that the right and relevant people are targeted in each campaign.


The main responsibilities for the role include but not limited to:

  •  Build engagement strategies for each segment of IDCs target markets.
  • Building an understanding of audiences and their need and demand in each of the Nordic and Benelux markets making sure the right people are targeted every time.
  • Maximizing data quality and add new data elements if appropriate and enforcing Data Entry Standards.
  • Work closely with internal clients, subject matter experts, and external customers on the different campaigns.
  • Cleansing and deploying data across the campaigns, whilst Improving and maintaining the quality of the database, as well as adding new relevant prospect and attributes as needed.
  • Identifying new leads, topics, and target audiences to optimize ROI “our core KPIs” (incl. Click rate, Opening rate, CRO, Promo Profit and ROI), across different data sources.
  • Gaining business critical customer insight via Data Analysis, Qualitative- and Quantitative Research, customer service- and sales response.
  • Gaining business critical market insight via market mapping etc. to identify the needs of non-buying prospects in- and outside of the existing IDC database. Analyzing the existing customer profile (certain common attributes identified), find external “Twins” and build/add new High-Quality Qualified leads to the database using the common attributes.
  • Use data analytics to improve the understanding of the Audiences' behaviors, drivers, and trends.
  • Mapping the customer journey and identify key elements that should be altered to improve customer experience, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Thus, optimizing the customer life-time value
  • Engage continuously with customers and stakeholders developing strong relationships both outside and inside the company.

The ideal candidate is an autonomous and independent person who takes total ownership of tasks. The person is also knowledgeable, positive, and energetic of nature, a relationship builder; and possesses the following characteristics:


  • Patience with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Passionate, positive, and enthusiastic with a dynamic, "business developer focused" mind-set.
  • A team player who is exceptionally interpersonal skilled when it comes to building relationships and who understands how to engage with, manage, and motivate the relevant stakeholders.
  • Experience with database building, coding, and management
  • A profound business understanding of the different northern European markets and their dynamics
  • Holds a business degree or equivalent.
  • Fluent in Danish, Finish, Swedish, Norwegian, and/or Dutch and English written and spoken and possesses good ICT skills.
  • Willing to work and attend events outside standard working hours and travel 20-30 days a year.
