IDC4EU – European Government Consulting is IDC’s specialized consulting group delivering value to European governments and policy makers, by leveraging IDC research and intelligence services in the ICT market. IDC4EU closely interacts with global and European IDC offices which count on the expertise of more than 1,100 analysts in over 110 countries worldwide.


IDC’s European Government Consulting unit is looking for a Senior EU Analyst/Project Manager with expertise in the identification, design and management of funded multinational collaborative projects and studies as well as in organizing communication, dissemination and stakeholder networking activities. The successful candidate should be able to organize and manage IDC participation in complex multi-partner international projects, coordinate with IDC’s internal and external partners, produce reports and workshop presentations. The candidate will also be expected to support the preparation of proposals responding to funding bodies requests for proposals or calls for tenders. Competences in technology research and innovation, information and communication technologies would be a strong plus. 


  • As an EU Project Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient execution of project workplans, ensuring respect of timelines, quality control, review and deliverables for the project he/she is entrusted,
  • Develop and organize the execution of project internal and external communication and dissemination activities;
  • Coordinate and interact with IDC internal and external partners as well as with the client for the projects or tasks of his/her responsibility,
  • Support IDC4EU marketing communication by developing the unit’s image and visibility with clients, partners and the IDC community;
  • Promote IDC and the IDC4EU brand through social media activities,
  • Contribute to the development of IDC4EU research and consulting practices and methods,
  • Actively identify and support the preparation of proposals and tenders.


  • Project management expertise,
  • Experience with public grants and funding,
  • Ability to conduct research and analyze results,
  • Good presentation and public speaking skills,
  • University degree in Political Science/Economics/Engineering/Informatics,
  • Social Media Marketing capabilities,
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must,
  • Knowledge of a second European language would be advantageous.
