    IDC Egypt is looking for a Conference Assistant to help the Conference Department in organising Events/Conferences.

    Responsibilities

    • Efficient conference support and telemarketing — tele-calling, invitation process (emailing, faxing and direct mail), telephone follow-up, confirming registrations, keeping registration lists and reports on number and structure of registrants, attendee acquisition and follow-up, database and contact management, qualification of conference related information etc. 
    • Assisting with all administration and logistics at IDC MEA events. 
    • Vendor and supplier management, email campaigns/ newspaper adverts & website maintained, assisting with pre-event (venue selection, co-ordination with hotels, sponsors/speaker co-ordination, preparation of badges, compiling attendee tote bags), and on-site activities; 
    • Assisting the Conference team in various activities related to organization of IDC events 
    • Supervision of conference end-user and speaker’s database on Intranet/Semik (Website management program – training will be undertaken) and regular update and qualification of records; 
    • Preparing various CALL reports
    • Maintaining & updating all events web sites on Intranet/Semik 
    • Manage all pre-event and post-event reporting as necessary and assigned. 
    • Inviting End user speakers and getting affiliation for supporting the event 
    • Travels to International events as required and assists with all aspects of on-site operation.

    Qualifications

    • Candidate with experience of outbound / Telecalling
    • Excellent oral communication skills in English language
    • Basic computer knowledge (Internet Surfing, MS. Office- Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Sound knowledge of telephone etiquette
    • Candidate should have a positive attitude
    • Good presentation and convincing skills
