    We are actively seeking a Data Analyst to join our team in Prague. The successful candidate is required to have data analysis/market research experience and be a fluent English speaker.  A working knowledge of the IT sector is a plus.  The position for market data analyst is open to candidates with 1-3 years postgraduate work experience or to self-motivated talented fresh graduates.

    Responsibilities

    • Operational responsibility for data processing that includes collecting and consolidating inputs from individual country analysts, data and trend analysis, quality control related to quantitative product line that IDC commonly refers to as “trackers” for various IT services categories. 

    • Communication with both upstream (global analysts) and downstream (country analysts in CEE) to secure timely delivery of aforementioned tracker product.

    • Will maintain and master IDC's quantitative processing tool and provides suggestions for its continuous improvement.

    • Will provide quantitative support for customized projects, in the form of data mining from existing data base

    • Additional responsibilities and activities will include support for Comparative analysis study of CEE for near shore sourcing.  That will include following activities:

    • Data gathering and completion of deliverable (tables and ppt deck) for comparative analysis;

    • Data monitoring of global IT vendors and captive centers of MNCs in CEE.

    • Activities will also include support for add-hoc consulting projects that may arise in the area of IT and cloud services.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent quantitative skills; advanced excel user and ability to manage large data sets
    • Fluent English Speaker
    • Communication skills to pro-actively interconnect with various stakeholders on the project
    • University Education (IT or Business/Economics)
    • Expert knowledge of MS Office packages N.B. Excel
    • Knowledge of macro-economic & business practices
    • Can do attitude and problem solving ability
