    IDC CEMA - Tracker Webscraping and Data Harvesting Team in Ostrava is GROWING!

     

    As member of the team that develops web scraper, bot, crawler and machine language solutions you will be key part of our ongoing market research initiatives. You will use ParseHub or Mozenda and other tools on daily basis.

     

    We are looking for a long-term part-time employee for our Web Scraping and Data Harvesting Team in Ostrava. After agreement, it is possible to switch to full-time. This position is suitable for students either mothers on maternity leave. We are very flexible, you can schedule your working hours. We expect from you, to see you here 20 hours a week.

    Your daily job will be setting up solutions for extracting data from major web sites and preparing the data for use by the market research analysts.

    Responsibilities

    • Communicating with the team of analysts on data collection
    • Creation and maintenance of data collection agents
    • Finding optimal solutions for different data sources

    Qualifications

    • EN B2 (you will interact with analysts from different corners of the world - North America, South America, Asia, etc.)
    • An advantage is the experience with creating websites and SQL basics
    • Analytical thinking and passion for IT

    Our offices:

    • In Ostrava we have offices in Ostrava - Pustkovec, near VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava (approx. 10 minutes by walk), there is relax room with table football, smaller offices with approximately 7 desks
