    IDC CEMA (IDC Central Europe, CIS, the Middle East and Africa Emerging Markets Region) is seeking an HR professional based in Dubai to provide HR generalist services to the emerging markets: Middle East, Turkey and Africa region and contribute to the CEMA region in a specific HR domain. Duties shall include local operational and HR generalist duties in assigned region as well as regional duties, in aligning efforts and creating consistencies with regional and global corporate policies and objectives while contributing to the region in a domain specialty.                


    The position will be working as a Business Partner to specific client group, and support the ongoing development and implementation of IDC CEMA people-related strategies and will also support the process of coaching management, supporting line managers on performance management and developing Performance Improvement Plans. As a key HR Support to the business, the candidate will be working closely with the business owners and advice on the application of HR policies. With previous 3-4 years experience in HR Management, you will have an ability to work at both operational and more tactical levels in HR, and have excellent influencing and facilitation skills in driving through change.


    Reporting jointly to the CEMA HR Director, and as key part of the CEMA HR team the primary responsibilities of this position include:


    • Employee relations and Employment regulations
    • HR Admin and Benefits admin, Management of employment records and files
    • Implementation and maintenance of consistent HR policies and procedures; including but not limited to: special HR projects, internal communication, implementation of world-wide HR policies and initiatives
    • Recruitment and selection coordination of right candidates in all areas of the business – and at the right time
    • Initiate appraisal and review processes according to EMEA process, support on training and development plans for the region
    • Support any grievance procedures as and when needed


    Interested individuals that meet the following minimum requirements are encouraged to apply:


    • Individuals with 3-4 years job experience of full generalist HR ideally gained within a market research industry or IT vendor and industry services environment
    • Minimum university or college degree, BA, BSc or equivalent  
    • Solid understanding of employment legislation in the African and Middle Eastern
    • Written and spoken fluency in English – native Arabic preferred
    • Familiarity with MS Office  


    The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a good track record in recruitment and employee relations, excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building skills. Adaptable, flexible, strong communication skills both written and verbal, ability to work independently on multiple tasks, trustworthy, able to maintain confidentiality, inclination towards strategic program development, in a role with exceptional scope for long term personal and career growth. Title will commensurate with experience.
