IDC’s European Channels & Alliances Research team is looking for a new member to join us as a Research Analyst based in either Copenhagen, London or Prague.
Our new colleague will take on a key role in a growing part of the business that’s focused strongly on indirect vendor revenue data, indirect market splits by partners types, indirect market forecasts and market surveys. Specifically, he or she will be responsible for:
Our new colleague will have a good understanding of market, economic and statistical analysis, the ability to detect trends and patterns of information, and will like finding ways to present this in an easily consumable manner. You will have great attention to detail and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. We're certainly looking for intellectual rigor, but also for creativity. You might well have a degree, which include Mathematics, Economics or Statistics, although these are not mandated. An interest in the IT industry, and specifically the channel, would definitely be advantageous, as would experience of the industry.
You will have good listening skills, critical thinking abilities and curiosity relating to the developments in the IT markets. Good written and verbal English skills are required and fluency in a second European language would be advantageous. You will join a highly motivated, experienced and collaborative team of analysts so must be a strong team player who is happy to have multiple tasks on the go.
