    Responsibilities

    As Account Executive for IDC business overall responsibility will be to drive incremental business from consulting projects, conferences packages– custom events as well as sponsored.

     

    Main responsibilities will be to:

    • Identifying potential new clients and business opportunities.
    • Grow existing client base.
    • Work with sales, marketing, and analyst teams to respond to market demands and develop new offerings.
    • Liaising with clients in order to identify their needs.
    • Communicating client agendas to other members of staff.
    • Gain a complete understanding of the business model (operational project management, sales guidelines, bookings & revenue splits, etc).
    • Liaising with other departments in the company according to client requirements.
    • Proposal generation from stand alone solutions to annual programs.
    • Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis

     

     

    Qualifications

    To successfully execute on the above you will need a number of important skills and competencies, including:

    • Advanced relationship management skills with senior level clients (C-level)
    • Ability to creatively exploit new client requirements and work with the organization to develop new and creative service solutions.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to manage several tasks at once.
    • Good negotiation skills.
    • The ability to thrive in pressured or stressful situations.
    • Good attention to detail.
    • An excellent understanding of client care.
    • University level; 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the ICT sector as well as a proven Sales
    • Mastery and consistent execution of IDC's internal sales
    • Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Candidate is an outbound call champion.
    • Strong sales attitude, self-motivation and good team spirit.
    • Native Spanish and Fluency in English.
    • Proven team player skills.
    • Strong familiarity with ICT (Information and Communications Technology) industry and knowledge of conferences business.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suit.
    • Social networks savvy user for sales and marketing purposes.
    • Consultative selling skills.
