About the position

IDC offers its customers integrated, content-driven marketing solutions supporting customers’ go-to-market activities from awareness creation and market education through to lead-generation and lead-nurturing. A key aspect of IDC’s Go-To-Market Services is IDC’s event business and we are now looking for a product/project manager for this area.


The main role within this position is the support to central management of multi-country roadshows and IDC European Summits. The IDC Junior Project Manager will work with IDC Event Project Directors in the Region to:


Support to Project Management – Multi-country IDC events

  • Take part to set up the main milestones of projects by gathering relevant information and preparing the project plan
  • Develop central materials such as presentation and reporting template, banner and lay out
  • Develop consolidated post-event reports for the client de-brief review.
  • Take part to the implementation of marketing activities such invitees and delegates materials or databases management when needed support the event team in charge of the project within their email and contacts invitations lists.

Responsible for the maintenance of EMEA Event reporting tools

  • Update of the EMEA event calendar and similar tools
  • Develop and maintain our event management system CVENT

Support the delegates acquisition for IDC European Summits

  • Identify and gather relevant information about potential speaker or invitees
  • Complement and update our Summits invitees list (through search on LinkedIn and our internal tool CVENT)
  • Develop communication materials tools such as Website, sales proposals, delegates welcome packs.


  • Possess a detailed understanding of international marketing principles
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, with fluent English (other languages are beneficial but not essential).
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and comfortable advising internal clients about effective delivery of marketing programs.
  • Be extremely organized with great attention to detail
  • Advanced excel and power point user
  • Possess demonstrable experience of juggling multiple international projects incorporating stakeholders from all layers of the business.
  • Flexible and comfortable working under pressure.
