This position focuses on developing IDC’s research and consulting business with the Telecom Service Providers and select government bodies across Africa.
The successful candidate should be comfortable in carrying a large USD target and interacting with senior level executives who drives client engagements independently.
He or she will also have or quickly be able to establish a network of contacts in the strategy/marketing departments of Telecom players in the region and be adept at communicating, listening, interpersonal relationships, and negotiating.
Teamwork capabilities are fundamental. Flexibility, initiative, and problem solving are also required. The candidate should be a dynamic and enthusiastic person geared towards commercial thinking and business opportunity, with self-confidence and the ability to work under pressure and cope easily with change.
